The Formative Years

As I dove deeper into filmmaking, my projects began to reflect my true interests.

The trailers for The Catch and The Lost Apartment showcased my love for murder mysteries and horror, hinting at the darker themes I enjoy exploring. In contrast, my remake of Heathers blended sharp humor with serious topics, making it feel more like a fun skit. My three-episode series, Black Roses, marked a big shift for me and confirmed my fascination for the horror genre. I also enjoyed working in comedy, as seen in my Mean Girls series and the Fancy Queens skit. Plus, I had a blast creating made-up music videos, adding another layer to my creative expression.

This mix of genres has helped me develop my own narrative style. With each project I improved upon my storytelling, camera work, and editing skills. Through experimenting with different styles, I have learned how to better capture emotions, build suspense, and create engaging visuals. This journey made me more confident and capable as a filmmaker.
